What Types of Payments do you accept?
Payment is expected at time services are rendered. We accept cash, cards, non-contact payments (paypal, cashapp, venmo). We only accept local checks (with name, address, and phone) bounced checks with result in $30 fee.
What if my Pet is Matted?
Unfortunately, pets do get matted from a lack of brushing. If this is the case, a matting charge added to the bill. If the matting is more severe covering larger areas of the body the kindest and least stressful thing to do is to shave them down. Your dog’s comfort and happiness is of the utmost importance to us so we do not offer full dematting. We will always be sure to tell you if we must shave down your dog (due to matting) prior to shaving. This process requires more time and care. Ask about proper brushes and scheduling to keep your pet mat free
What are your hours
Because Mountain Pet Wash is a one wo-man operation, mobile and shop are by appointment only, typically Monday - Thursday
Do you have a weight or size limit?
No, we are not limited by size, but difficult dogs may incur extra charges. Be sure to read policy and procedures before filing out your paperwork
How long does it take?
Every pet is different, but it can take anywhere from 30 minutes, to up to 2 hours (any animal taking over 2 hours are subject to additional appointment, charged separately, or extra charges depending on your pets tolerance and stress levels).
Does Mobile cost more than a Shop?

Our service involves experienced professional service, quality products, personalized attention and gentle, loving care. Mobile grooming is not for everyone; only you can decide if the care, quality, convenience and attention are worth the price.
Same goes for our shop, while we strive for competitive city pricing of discount pet stores, we are providing consistent professional services with one-on-one grooming that box stores can't provide.
Can I watch?
We would love to have you watch us, but pets can become very excited when seeing their owners that they can run the risk of being injured. Groomers use many sharp tools whilst styling and pets that move around on the grooming table are at a higher risk of being wrongly cut. “DO NOT” be offended if your groomer informs you that you or your children can not be in the trailer or standing outside the window. It is only done for the safety of your beloved pet.
Do I have to be home for Mobile Grooming?
Absolutely not! Many of our regular clients use our latchkey service. We enter your home through the garage door keypad, front door keypad or you can give us an actual key. We enter your home, scoop up your pooch and bring him into our mobile salon. You come home to a clean well-coiffed dog! ** Must be present for initial appointment to go over entry, pets tolerance of situation and expectations for grooming/ bathing
What if its snowing?
The shop will typically hold appointments on snow days, but if you need to cancel/ reschedule let us know asap, cancellation charges are usually waived.
Pulling a trailer in the snow is not safe, if a snow day incurs all appointments will notified and rescheduled. When rescheduling becomes necessary we typically work EXTRA hard… a little earlier and later to fit all the pups in once the weather has cleared and the roads have been plowed. We may also add extra grooming day to get everyone back on schedule
How much does it cost?
Shop and Mobile prices are graded differently. My Shop charges by breed and Condition, while the mobile is hourly. Refer to site tabs or message for additional inquiries
Do you offer discounts or Payment plans?
The short answer is yes.
The shop offers payment plans for low income and fix income clients, as well as discount punch cards for regular appointments (4,6,8,12 week appointments)
The Mobile offers many options from pre-booking (6 or 12 week) to multi-dog/ neighborhood discounts
Do you need power or water to come to my house?
Not necessarily
Our trailer has a eco quiet generator and 50 gallon water storage.
Do you take emergency appointments?
Short answer, No.
There's no such thing as a grooming emergency. Lack of planning or attention does not warrant an emergency on my part. While I will always try and get you on the schedule, pre-booking clients have priority appointments and days that have been pre-scheduled for the whole year. If you need your pet done for something specific (holidays, weddings, family visiting, ect) book ahead of time as spaces for main holidays may already be filling up

I'm a busy mom running 3 businesses, I don't always answer my phone, especially while grooming. Always leave a message or shoot me text for a call with pertinent info (question, breed, location, ect.) and I'll get back to you.
